Jesus Sanchez Taking A Seat Tuesday
1 year agoMiami Marlins outfielder Jesus Sanchez is not in the starting lineup Tuesday against the Toronto Blue Jays and left-hander Yusei Kikuchi. Sanchez was in the middle of Monday's 11-0 rout of the Blue Jays, collecting two doubles along with two runs and an RBI across five trips to the plate. However, it's not surprising to see the lefty-swinging 25-year-old hit the bench against the left-handed Kikuchi on Tuesday. For the season, Sanchez is hitting a healthy .276 along with six home runs, three stolen bases, and an .856 OPS across 142 trips to the plate. Fantasy managers can also sleep well knowing Sanchez's .373 xwOBA is actually a slight improvement on his .369 wOBA, leaving little chance for much regression moving forward.
