Jerry Blevins A Trade Option
6 years agoThe New York Mets have spoken with several teams regarding relief pitcher Jerry Blevins, who hasn't allowed a run with a .301 opponent's OPS in his last 11 outings. However, nothing appears to be imminent. The Dodgers come to mind as a team that could use some relief help without closer Kenley Jansen (heart). Blevins, a lefty, has a 3.66 ERA, 1.28 WHIP and 8.4 K/9 in 32 innings this season. He's unlikely to find himself in a closing situation if he's traded, so he won't move the fantasy needle.
