Jerome Ford Runs For 47 Yards In Week 5 Loss
2 months agoCleveland Browns running back Jerome Ford carried the ball nine times for 47 yards and added three catches for two yards in a 34-13 loss to the Washington Commanders in Week 5. Ford turned in a quiet game in the lopsided loss as he ceded 10 touches to backup running back D'Onta Foreman in the contest. Ford was on his way to a much quieter game but he managed to rip off runs of 16 and eight yards on the Browns' touchdown drive in the fourth quarter to boost his rushing total. With Nick Chubb (knee) likely returning to the field in the next few weeks, Ford's days as a fantasy starter appear to be numbered. He will take on the Philadelphia Eagles in Week 6.
