Jeremy Jeffress Expected To Be Activated Tuesday
6 years agoMilwaukee Brewers relief pitcher Jeremy Jeffress (shoulder) was not activated from the injured list on Monday, but manager Craig Counsell said that it could come on Tuesday. Jeffress struggled in his short rehab assignment, but the main thing is that he is healthy will provide Milwaukee with another late-inning arm to help take the pressure off of Josh Hader, who the Brewers like to use in multi-inning stints. While it might not happen right away, Jeffress should see save opportunities eventually and should be picked up for those hunting saves. The 31-year-old had a healthy 1.29 ERA, .099 WHIP, 15 saves and a 10.4 K/9 last season.
