Jeremy Hellickson Has Reasonable Outing on Tuesday
6 years agoWashington Nationals right-hander Jeremy Hellickson had a typical outing for his standards on Tuesday. Hellickson threw five innings, allowed three runs and struck out three in a no-decision against the Milwaukee Brewers. Since blowing up in a start against the Miami Marlins on July 5, the righty is 2-0 with a 2.25 ERA. He has yet to eclipse six innings in a start during that span, but Hellickson has been a fairly effective starting pitcher this season in favorable matchups. The 31-year-old should toe the rubber on Sunday against the Marlins.
