5 years agoPhiladelphia Phillies starting pitcher Jerad Eickhoff has been demoted to the bullpen after a horrendous start on Monday. Eickhoff was crushed, allowing seven runs to the Diamondbacks in Monday's loss. He has not shown signs of life during his other starts either, so the bullpen could be a better fit for him. Manager Gabe Kapler said "everything is on the table", in regards to filling the rotation spot. The Phillies may decide to go with an opener, but they have not announced a starter for Sunday yet.--Andy Webb - RotoBaller
