Jelani Woods Primed For Better Numbers In Week 17
2 years agoIndianapolis Colts tight end Jelani Woods saw more opportunity when an ankle injury sidelined Kylen Granson in Week 16. He responded by having catches of 15 and 17 yards, two of their most significant plays in the loss to the Los Angeles Chargers. With Granson already ruled out for Week 17, Woods will likely start against the New York Giants, a squad that ranks 25th against opposing tight ends by allowing an average of 13.45 fantasy points per game. Woods has increased production with more targets, like his 98-yard output in Week 12 versus the Pittsburgh Steelers. Therefore, he will have some low-end TE2 streaming appeal in deeper leagues this weekend.
