6 years agoSan Francisco Giants starting pitcher Jeff Samardzija (shoulder) has already thrown three full-speed bullpen sessions without pain while using all of his pitches, and he plans to throw a fourth on Monday or Tuesday. The 34-year-old veteran had a terrible year in 2018, making only 10 starts because of his injury and going 1-5 with a 6.25 ERA, 1.63 WHIP and 6.0 K/9. There is bounce-back potential, but injuries and his age are extreme turnoffs for fantasy owners. He shouldn't be drafted in mixed leagues.--Keith Hernandez - RotoBaller
