Colorado Rockies pitcher Jeff Hoffman has joined the team in Denver and it seems likely he'll start Wednesday's game against the Atlanta Braves. The 26-year-old is in position to start for Tyler Anderson, who is dealing with a knee injury that forced him to the injured list. Hoffman has sporadically been a member of the major league club the past three seasons, amassing a 5-6 record with a 5.88 ERA in 37 appearances -- 23 of those being starts. Expect this to be a temporary placement in the starting rotation.--RDelgado
