Jed Lowrie Dealing With Calf Strain
5 years agoNew York Mets third baseman Jed Lowrie (calf) is now dealing with a right calf strain. However, general manager Brodie Van Wagenen said that Lowrie's left side is now strong after dealing with knee, hip and hamstring injuries that have kept him out all season so far. Lowrie has been a huge free-agent bust for the Mets after he made the All-Star team in his final season with Oakland in 2018. At this point, it might be considered a success if Lowrie contributes at all for the Mets this season. You can continue to leave him to the waiver wire in all mixed leagues with no timetable for his return.
