Jazz Chisholm Tweaks Ankle In Saturday’s Win
3 years agoMiami Marlins' second baseman Jazz Chisholm (ankle) was removed from Saturday's 3-2 win over the Braves in the seventh inning after tweaking his ankle. He went 1-for-3 with an RBI, one run scored, and a walk before exiting. The severity of his ankle is unknown at this time and Chisholm is considered day-to-day. He's slashing .252/.318/.437 with nine homers, 29 RBI, 32 runs scored, and 10 stolen bases across 245 plate appearances in 2021. Fantasy managers should continue to monitor the situation as an update will be provided by the Marlins on Sunday. Joe Panik would see an uptick in playing time if Chisholm is forced to miss any games.
