Jazz Chisholm Jr. Played Through Torn Meniscus
2 years agoMiami Marlins shortstop Jazz Chisholm Jr. (knee, back) underwent surgery to repair a torn meniscus Friday. He had been ruled out for the remainder of the season due to a stress fracture in his back. The 24-year-old also played through a torn meniscus and underwent surgery on Friday. He is expected to be ready by Spring Training. Chisholm slashed .254/.325/.535 with 14 home runs, 45 RBI, 39 runs, and 12 stolen bases over 60 games in 2022.
