Jazz Chisholm Jr. Exits Early With Hamstring Cramp
1 year agoMiami Marlins outfielder Jazz Chisholm Jr. (hamstring) exited Saturday's game against the Texas Rangers with a right hamstring cramp. The 25-year-old went 1-for-1 with an RBI and a BB before leaving. A left oblique strain and a turf toe have limited Chisholm to 50 games in 2023. He is slashing .253/..312/.462 with 10 home runs, 24 RBI, 23 runs, and 15 stolen bases over 182 at-bats. Chisholm is considered day-to-day, with Sunday's series finale against the Rangers his next chance to return to the lineup. Jon Berti and Jesus Sanchez should see an uptick in at-bats if Chisholm were to miss any additional time.
