Jazz Chisholm Enters Game As Defensive Replacement
3 years agoMiami Marlins second baseman Jazz Chisholm (ankle) entered Sunday's contest in the ninth inning as a defensive replacement and replaced Joe Panik at second base, according to Jordan McPherson of the Miami Herald. Chisholm had been held out of the lineup on Sunday after he tweaked his ankle and exited Saturday's game early, but this is a good sign that the Marlins don't believe the ankle should be a major issue for Chisholm. Managers should expect Chisholm to likely return to the lineup on Monday for the series opener with the Dodgers.
