Jayson Tatum Goes Quiet in Kyrie Irving's Return
7 years agoBoston Celtics forward Jayson Tatum disappeared in Tuesday’s blowout loss in Toronto. He scored only four points and pulled down just one rebound. He shot 2-for-9 on the night and missed his only three-point attempt. Tatum had a couple nice games over the last week with a bump in usage as Kyrie Irving sat out. However, the Celtics as a team struggled to get any offense going against a hyper-efficient Raptors team. Tatum has seen 30-plus minutes the entire season, and the rookie is likely looking forward to the All-Star break. If he can find his three-point shot again with his legs back, he could be a sneaky buy-low option for the stretch run.
