Jaylen Brown Scores 34 Points In Losing Effort
3 years agoBoston Celtics guard/forward Jaylen Brown missed all five attempts from deep against Washington on Saturday but still ended up having a big 34-point game in a double-overtime loss. He finished 14-for-24 from the field and had a 6-for-7 record at the charity stripe with six rebounds, two assists, one steal, one block and three turnovers in 47 minutes. Brown was limited to just 13 points by the Wizards in Wednesday's 116-107 loss, so he must've played with a chip on his shoulder. The Celtics love overtime this season and it's already helped Brown to produce three games with 30-plus points. However, he's also had a nine-point dud and there's clearly some work to be done on consistency. Brown will see Chicago's tough defense next, which will be an uncomfortable matchup for him.
