Jaylen Brown Provides A Full Line Sunday
2 years agoBoston Celtics guard/forward Jaylen Brown filled up the box score Sunday against Orlando, completing a 95-92 loss with 24 points, 14 rebounds, two assists, three steals and two blocks. He had free rein on offense, with Jayson Tatum (personal) sitting out the contest, and Brown didn't hold back, chucking away 25 shots. Unfortunately, he was only able to make 10 of them, and Brown's three-point shooting was ugly as well with a 2-for-10 effort. It was truly a mixed-bag performance, as Brown also committed five turnovers. Brown is having a fine campaign, but that's now back-to-back games in which he's struggled to even shoot 40 percent from the field. Both were outings against the Magic, so maybe it was the matchup. Brown also had a horrible 12-point outing against Orlando in the opening week of the season. He should break out of the shooting funk soon, and Wednesday's matchup against an Indiana team that allows 1115.6 points per game looks like a great spot to do it.
