Ja'Tavion Sanders Doesn't Carry An Injury Designation Against Denver
4 weeks agoCarolina Panthers tight end Ja'Tavion Sanders (groin, wrist) doesn't carry an injury designation against the Denver Broncos in Week 8. He was dealing with a groin and wrist injury but fully practiced on Friday and is good to go for Sunday's game. Sanders has some momentum heading into their Week 8 matchup against Denver. The Panthers rookie tight end has been Carolina's best pass catcher over the last two weeks, posting five receptions for 49 yards against Atlanta and six for 61 yards against Washington. Unfortunately, these efforts were made by veteran quarterback Andy Dalton, and Bryce Young's return complicates his outlook, as Young has thrown for just 245 yards with no touchdowns in his starts this year. While Sanders remains a waiver target to watch, he doesn't present as a great streaming option for Week 8 with Young under center.
