Jarrett Allen Dominates In Spot Start
4 years agoCleveland Cavaliers center Jarrett Allen had a big night against Minnesota on Monday, notching a double-double with 23 points and 18 rebounds, while delivering five swats on the defensive end. He shot 7-for-9 from the field and 9-for-14 at the charity stripe. Allen logged his sixth start to the season, with Andre Drummond (back) out and the Cavs frontcourt was also missing Larry Nance Jr. (wrist). Drummond's presence is hurting Allen's fantasy value, but he's also been posting decent numbers as a backup, so his situation could be a lot worse. The Cavs centers are set to finish the week strongly in a back-to-back series with the Bucks, but they take on the Clippers and their tough defense next.
