Jarred Vanderbilt Won't Play In Season Opener
1 year agoLos Angeles Lakers forward Jarred Vanderbilt (heel) has been ruled out for Tuesday's season opener against the Denver Nuggets. This doesn't come as a surprise given the fact Vanderbilt only played in one preseason game. Luckily, this doesn't sound like a long term issue, so Vanderbilt should be fine soon. In the meantime, Rui Hachimura should see additional playing time in the absence of Vanderbilt. He should be worth streaming with Vanderbilt on the sideline. Taurean Prince will start at power forward on Tuesday, but it sounds like the Lakers could rotate starters at the four once Vanderbilt is healthy.
