Jarred Kelenic Struggling With New Team
9 months agoAtlanta Braves outfielder Jarred Kelenic went 0-for-1 with a pair of walks in Sundays Grapefruit League contest versus the rival Philadelphia Phillies. The former top prospect was acquired from the Seattle Mariners earlier in the offseason and is coming off of his best year as a pro with a .253 batting average to go along with 11 homers, 49 RBI and 13 stolen bases in 105 games. The Braves are expected to use Kelenic as an everyday outfielder and their should be less pressure on the 24-year-old with many star teammates in a powerful Braves lineup. Kelenic is worth continuing to roster in dynasty leagues and makes for an intriguing upside play in redraft formats.
