Seattle Mariners outfielder Jarred Kelenic went 2-for-2 with a double, two RBI, a walk and a run scored in Friday's Cactus League game versus the Cincinnati Reds. Kelenic has been on fire during the spring and is now hitting .429, with four of his nine hits going for home runs. Kelenic doesn't have a clear path to playing time after struggling to begin his career, and the Mariners added AJ Pollock and Teoscar Hernandez to their outfield this offseason. However, Kelenic may be playing his way into the strong side of a platoon with Pollock to begin the year. He's been hitting third in the Mariners lineup recently, though it's hard to imagine him hitting there during the season.
