Jaren Jackson Jr. Gets Game-High 25 Points In Thursday's Win
3 years agoMemphis Grizzlies power forward Jaren Jackson Jr. went for a game-high 25 points as the team shocked the Lakers with a 108-95 win Thursday night. The young forward had a tough time from three-point range, shooting 2-for-8, but he did well overall with a 9-for-18 effort and capped things off with five rebounds, three steals and three turnovers in 29 minutes. Memphis finished a back-to-back set and Jackson Jr. had 20-plus points in both outings, so his confidence must be sky-high now. He'll meet the Rockets next, against whom Jackson Jr. produced an 18-point performance with 50 percent shooting earlier in the season.
