Jaren Jackson Jr. Absent On Sunday
10 months agoMemphis Grizzlies forward Jaren Jackson Jr. (hip) won't play on Sunday against the Celtics. The 24-year-old had 27 points off a game-high 21 attempts on Friday versus Golden State. He also had five boards, two steals, and two blocks. However, Jackson won't suit up because of a hip issue, which has bothered him for at least a few weeks. The Grizzlies injury report is loaded, so it's unknown who will take his spot in the lineup. But presumably, Jackson's minutes will be absorbed by Santi Aldama (tailbone) or Xavier Tillman Sr. (knee), assuming at least one can play.
