James Reimer Faces Arizona's Hot Offense
San Jose Sharks goaltender James Reimer will log his 36th start of the campaign Sunday against the Arizona Coyotes. This will be his third start since returning from a lower-body injury and Reimer has yet to taste victory since his comeback, dropping a tight one against Florida 3-2 in overtime and suffering a 3-0 loss against the Kings. Ending the losing streak on Sunday won't be a piece of cake either, as the Coyotes have rocked a lot of teams lately and boast a 3.67 goals-for average since the start of last month. Reimer has managed to beat Arizona once this season but even then let seven pucks slip past him. He carries a 15-13-6 record and has registered a 2.82 goals-against average with a .916 save percentage and one shutout.
