James Paxton Playing Catch Friday
New York Yankees starting pitcher James Paxton (knee) is testing out his knee by playing catch on Friday and isn't experiencing any soreness in it. It's not a serious injury, and the 30-year-old should only have to miss one or two starts. That's welcome news for his fantasy owners, as Paxton has been sharp with the Yankees for a 3-2 record, 3.11 ERA, 1.19 WHIP and 52 strikeouts in 37 2/3 innings over his seven starts. He should remain owned everywhere and started when he returns from his injured-list stint.
