James Paxton Playing Catch Friday
6 years agoNew York Yankees starting pitcher James Paxton (knee) is testing out his knee by playing catch on Friday and isn't experiencing any soreness in it. It's not a serious injury, and the 30-year-old should only have to miss one or two starts. That's welcome news for his fantasy owners, as Paxton has been sharp with the Yankees for a 3-2 record, 3.11 ERA, 1.19 WHIP and 52 strikeouts in 37 2/3 innings over his seven starts. He should remain owned everywhere and started when he returns from his injured-list stint.
