Oakland Athletics general manager David Forst said that pitching prospect James Kaprielian (elbow, shoulder) is throwing in an instructional league game on Friday. The right-hander had Tommy John surgery last April and then developed shoulder problems. He hasn't pitched since 2016 with High-A Tampa. Kaprielian is the team's No. 9 prospect, but he has quite a ways to go before he can be considered by those in dynasty/keeper leagues.--Keith Hernandez
