Jamaal Williams Questionable For Week 13
1 month agoNew Orleans Saints running back Jamaal Williams was sidelined for the three games preceding the team's Week 12 bye due to a groin injury. On the positive side, Williams was able to practice in full on Friday after logging two limited sessions in the runup Week 13's matchup with the Los Angeles Rams. The Rams are allowing a generous 4.59 yards per carry to opposing running backs but the bulk of that work is expected to go to Alvin Kamara or tight end Taysom Hill, who took on the backup running back role during Williams' absence. Before the injury, Williams was seldom used and when he was given the ball he was largely ineffective. Through his eight active games, he has 32 carries for 124 yards and one touchdown. Williams can safely be left on the waiver wire in Week 13.
