2 months agoMinnesota Vikings wide receiver Jalen Nailor is set to start opposite of wide receiver Justin Jefferson for the team now that Jordan Addison (ankle) has been ruled out in Week 2 against the San Francisco 49ers. Nailor saw only one target in Week 1's game against the New York Giants, albeit for a 21-yard touchdown, but the game script for Week 2's game will be different. The Vikings gave four targets to Addison in Week 1's contest; expect that to be a minimum for Nailor as he had impressed in preseason for the Vikings. Given the lack of other receiving threats for the team, the former sixth-round draft pick may take advantage of double- and triple-team looks that go toward Jefferson, leaving Nailor with a chance to be productive for deeper leagues.
