Jalen Hurts Runs His Way To A Good Fantasy Performance
3 years agoPhiladelphia Eagles quarterback Jalen Hurts struggled as a quarterback all night against the Tampa Bay Bucs in Week 6, but looked like the best running back on the field on several occasions to make up for it. In total, Hurts completed 12 of his 26 passes for a mere 115 yards, throwing one touchdown and one interception. On the ground, he ran 10 times, gaining 44 yards and scoring two touchdowns. Hurts was looking like he was about to ruin the fantasy week of anyone who started him, but his two rushing touchdowns came in the final 18 minutes of the game and made everything OK (in fantasy...the Eagles probably still weren't thrilled.) Hurts has yet to show much of anything with his arm, but his rushing ability and the fact that he's clearly working as the primary running back in this offense makes him a weekly QB1 option.
