3 years agoPhiladelphia Eagles quarterback Jalen Hurts was officially confirmed as the team's starter by coach Nick Sirianni. The new Eagles coach said, "Jalen is our starter. He has done a great job." The Eagles tried to pretend that backup Joe Flacco had a chance to actually jump Hurts on the depth chart this preseason, but no one around the league really bought it. It was always going to be Hurts, but the official announcement at least puts to rest any remaining concerns. The sophomore signal caller will be under center in Week 1, and while he was average at best as a real life quarterback, his rushing ability puts him at a much higher tier in most fantasy formats.--David A Marcillo - RotoBaller
