1 year agoLos Angeles Chargers wide receiver Jalen Guyton is not a good fantasy option in a Week 17 game against the Denver Broncos despite several injuries ahead of him on the depth chart. Keenan Allen (heel) and Joshua Palmer (concussion) are both questionable at best. In theory, that leaves Guyton as one of the top two wide receivers on the depth chart alongside rookie Quentin Johnston, but Guyton has made just six catches in his past five games, and the Chargers offense is among the worst in the league right now.--David A Marcillo - RotoBaller

1 year agoLos Angeles Chargers wide receiver Jalen Guyton is unlikely to be a fantasy relevant option in a Week 16 game against the Buffalo Bills. Guyton has nine catches all season and will work behind Joshua Palmer and Quentin Johnston on an offense led by Easton Stick. Guyton has the speed to break off a long touchdown at any point, but that small likelihood is essentially his only chance to put up a significant fantasy performance. He should remain on most waiver wires.--David A Marcillo - RotoBaller

1 year agoLos Angeles Chargers wide receiver Jalen Guyton made two catches in a tough Week 15 loss to the Las Vegas Raiders. Guyton saw two targets, catching both for a total of 19 yards. With Keenan Allen (heel) forced to miss the game, there was some thought that Guyton could play a larger role, but he remained a distant option behind rookie Quentin Johnston and the recently activated Joshua Palmer. With the Chargers offense in shambles, Guyton will remain off the fantasy radar for the remainder of the season.--David A Marcillo - RotoBaller

1 year agoLos Angeles Chargers wide receiver Jalen Guyton could see his role expand a bit in a Week 15 game against the Las Vegas Raiders. With Keenan Allen (heel) questionable at best after being listed as "DNP" on two straight practices to start the week, Guyton may end up as the second option in the passing game behind struggling rookie Quentin Johnston. Still, with Easton Stick set to start in place of Justin Herbert (finger), there's not much hope for a big fantasy performance. Guyton has not had a multi-catch game since Week 10 and has put up three straight weeks scoring one fantasy point per week. He's got the speed to crank out a long touchdown at any point, but fantasy managers can likely find safer choices and higher-upside ones on most waiver wires.--David A Marcillo - RotoBaller

1 year agoLos Angeles Chargers wide receiver Jalen Guyton is not worth a start in a Week 14 game against the Denver Broncos. Guyton is the fastest wide receiver on the Chargers roster, but it has not translated into anything on the field, as he's gone two games in a row with just one catch in each game. He's totaled 14 fantasy points in the four games he's played this season, with 12 of those points coming in a solid Week 10 performance. He's off the fantasy radar until he can prove that the one-catch games are the exception and not the 12-point one.--David A Marcillo - RotoBaller
