Jalen Green Has Quiet NBA Debut
3 years agoHouston Rockets shooting guard Jalen Green was anonymous in 32 minutes in his NBA debut on Wednesday, shooting 4-for-14 from the field and ending up with only nine points in a big loss to Minnesota. He was 1-for-6 with the three-ball and picked up four rebounds, four assists and one steal. The second pick of this year's draft was a game-worst minus-37 in a 124-106 loss. This was a very disappointing performance by Green, but the whole team struggled and had a nightmare of a start with 72 first-half points allowed. Head coach Stephen Silan suggested postgame that his young team might've had some first-game jitters. The Rockets will face another young team in the Thunder on Friday. Green should do a lot better in the team's home opener.
