2 years agoTop defensive tackle prospect Jalen Carter is visiting the Detroit Lions on Monday for a Top-30 Visit. The 6-3, 310 pound Georgia product was a consensus All-American in 2022, his junior year. He made 32 total tackles, including 3.0 sacks, three pass defenses, and two forced fumbles. Ranked as the No. 2 overall player by PFF, Carter was locked in as a top five pick before being accused of speeding and committing misdemeanor driving offenses in January. Carter pleaded no contest and was sentenced to probation. The incident will apparently not push him out of the top 10.
