Jalen Brunson Leads Depleted Mavs Past Minnesota
3 years agoDallas Mavericks point guard Jalen Brunson scored a game-high 28 points as Jason Kidd's side managed to take down Minnesota 114-102 on Tuesday. He hit 10-for-18 from the field and 5-for-8 at the line while sinking three shots from downtown with eight attempts. Brunson delivered six assists with two turnovers and recorded two rebounds, three steals and one block in 40 minutes. The 25-year-old has become the main man in Dallas, with his teammates dropping like flies. The Mavs have been without Luka Doncic (ankle), and Kristaps Porzingis (toe) and Tim Hardaway Jr. (health and safety protocols) also didn't feature on Tuesday night. There are two more games for Brunson this week, and we can expect to see him continue to carry the team.
