Jake Fox Breaking Out Of Slump At High-A
4 months agoCleveland Guardians outfield prospect Jake Fox is currently riding a four-game hitting streak and has begun to break out of a week-long slump. During this stretch, Fox held a poor .077 AVG with just one across five games. Prior to this slump, Fox was riding a solid .246 AVG since the start of June. Now, the 21-year-old has tallied at least one hit in his past four games, including two multi-hit performances on July 5 and July 9, which suggests Fox has responded quite well. Overall, the outfielder has seen a dip in overall production through his second look at High-A this season, but Fox has shown he can get hot at the plate for an extended period of time. He remains a name to monitor in dynasty leagues and could see time at Double-A late in the summer.
