Jake Faria Victorious In First Game Back
Tampa Bay Rays starting pitcher Jake Faria (oblique) played in his first game Wednesday since returning from the disabled list. He would enter in relief and go 3 2/3 innings allowing only one run. Faria would earn the victory in the 7-2 victory. Faria followed starter Tyler Glasnow who lasted three innings. That particular sequence may be rare going forward as the Rays plan to stretch Glasnow out to be a true starting pitcher as opposed to just an "opener". Faria has value in deeper leagues and AL-only formats. Both Faria and Glasnow are interesting young pitchers in deep dynasty formats.
