Jake Faria Feels Good Friday After Rehab Game
6 years agoTampa Bay Rays starting pitcher Jake Faria (oblique) felt good after his rehab outing. It was his second rehab start after throwing three innings. He was due back July 22 but it could take longer as he is scheduled to make another outing Tuesday. Faria has not been an ace this season but the Rays would benefit as a staff from his return. In Faria's 86 2/3 innings in the majors during 2017, he struck out 84 batters while issuing only 31 walks. He is not much of an option until you get down to deeper leagues or AL-only formats.
