6 years agoTampa Bay Rays first baseman Jake Bauers hit his first career MLB homer Monday versus Toronto. He would reach base four times on Monday, including a two-run HR. Bauers would come around to score three times on Monday to go with the two RBI. Bauers has checked off several career firsts over the last three games, leaving a stolen base as the last major fantasy first left. He had five home runs and 10 steals at Triple-A this season, so there is some speed to work with. Bauers was one of the top Rays prospects and is an interesting buy in dynasty leagues. In terms of redraft formats, Bauers is a deeper or AL-only type asset for now.--Jamie Mellor
