Jaime Jaquez Jr. Leaves On Sunday, Ruled Out For Monday
1 year agoMiami Heat forward Jaime Jaquez Jr. (groin) could only play the first half of the game against the Charlotte Hornets on Sunday after he suffered a groin strain. Afterward, head coach Erik Spoelstra said that Jaquez would not travel with the team for their game against the Brooklyn Nets on Monday and he's considered day-to-day. Jaquez was putting together a good game against Charlotte in the 15 minutes he had on the floor. He posted 15 points, five rebounds, two assists, and one steal while shooting 7-for-11 overall. In the second half, Haywood Highsmith took his place and he'll likely be the one to take over the added opportunities on Monday against the Nets.
