Jaime Jaquez Jr. Heading To Miami

The Miami Heat drafted Jaime Jaquez Jr. with the No. 18 pick of the 2023 NBA Draft. Jaquez is a 6-foot-7 wing out of UCLA and was a four-year starter with the school that ended his college career with his strongest season yet. He posted averages of 17.8 points, 8.2 rebounds, 2.4 assists, and 1.5 steals per game. His stats that shine are his advanced defensive stats, as well as his player-efficiency rating, which clocked in at a big-time 25.7. The Heat are fresh off of a Finals loss that left them looking for the right supporting pieces for Jimmy Butler and Bam Adebayo.
