Jahmyr Gibbs Scores Twice In Big Week 15 Win
1 year agoDetroit Lions running back Jahmyr Gibbs rushed 11 times for 100 yards and one touchdown during Saturday's win over the Denver Broncos. He also contributed as a receiver, catching two passes for an additional eight yards and one touchdown through the air. When all was said and done, his final stat line included 108 scrimmage yards and a pair of scores. Needless to say, the rookie showed off his explosiveness on offense. Not only did he have a knack for finding the end zone on Saturday, but he was also quite efficient on the ground with a staggeringly high 9.1 YPC. He has certainly shown that he can co-exist with David Montgomery in the Lions' offense, all while Amon-Ra St. Brown and Sam LaPorta turn in big fantasy performances, too. Fantasy managers should treat Gibbs as a low-end RB1 when the Lions face the Minnesota Vikings in Week 16.
