Jaguars Plan To Keep Jalen Ramsey
5 years agoThe Jacksonville Jaguars rejected an offer of two first-round picks in exchange for cornerback Jalen Ramsey, according to a league source. Ramsey has made it public that he wants to be traded and has no desire to sign a contract extension, but the Jaguars are hesitant to deal the Pro Bowl defender. Ramsey missed practice last week due to a back injury, illness and the birth of his daughter. He did not suit up in the Week 4 win over the Broncos, and it remains to be seen if he'll play in Week 5 against the Panthers. With Cam Newton (foot) still likely to be sidelined, Jacksonville's defense will be a low-end fantasy option, but they're certainly more attractive if Ramsey is playing.
