Jaguars Defense Struggles, Allows 34 Points To Colts In Week 6 Loss
2 years agoThe defense of the Jacksonville Jaguars mightily struggled against the Indianapolis Colts in Sunday's 34-27 loss. Coming into the game, Matt Ryan was sacked 21 times and he was tied for the league lead with seven interceptions. But in Sunday's defeat, the Jaguars failed to record a sack on Ryan and they were unable to force any turnovers on the Colts despite them being without Jonathan Taylor and Nyheim Hines. After holding opposing teams to an average of 16 points per game in the first five weeks, the Jaguars allowed 30-plus points to an opponent for the first time this season versus the Colts. Jacksonville's defense is still a viable defense despite the team's struggles in Week 6.
