Jaguars Defense Limits Texans To 13 Points In Week 5 Defeat
2 years agoThe defense of the Jaguars was able to limit the Houston Texans to only 13 points in the team's Week 5 loss at home. Jacksonville's defense did its job on Sunday while the offense of the Jaguars was only able to put up six points on the winless Texans. While Jacksonville only sacked Davis Mills once, they held the second-year quarterback to 140 passing yards on 24 attempts. On top of that, despite the Jaguars giving up 116 rushing yards on Sunday, they contained the Texans to only 3.8 yards per attempt. The defense of the Jaguars has now held three of their first five opponents to 13 or fewer points and they face the Indianapolis Colts in Week 6, a team they shut out in Week 2.
