Jae'Sean Tate Goes Into Beast Mode Wednesday Night
3 years agoHouston Rockets guard/forward Jae'Sean Tate produced a phenomenal performance against OKC on Wednesday, leading his team to a 114-110 victory with a career-high 32 points, 10 rebounds, seven assists, two steals and five blocks. He shot 11-for-15 from the field and 9-for-10 at the foul line. A lot of the Rockets offense ended up going through Tate after Christian Wood made an early exit with an ankle sprain. Tate averages 12 points for the campaign, so this was likely just a one-off thing, but there will be more touches available if Wood is forced to miss time. Houston already has Jalen Green (hamstring) out and it looks like John Wall isn't coming back after all, so there are currently a lot of opportunities for guys who are in the lineup.
