Jae Crowder Set To Miss Eight Weeks With Groin, Abdominal Tear
1 year agoMilwaukee Bucks forward Jae Crowder (abdominal, groin) first suffered a groin injury on Saturday during the team's game against the Orlando Magic, and after further evaluation, it was found that he had a left-adductor and abdominal tear. The team announced that Crowder is now expected to undergo surgery on Tuesday and will miss approximately eight weeks. He'll likely be re-evaluated at the end of the eight weeks to make sure the recovery process went according to plan. While he's out, Bobby Portis, MarJon Beauchamp, and Pat Connaughton will likely see added playing time off of the bench.
