Jacob Eason Taking First-Team Quarterback Reps For Colts
3 years agoThe first question following Carson Wentz's injury is who would be the Indianapolis Colts QB1 to start the coming season? Indianapolis signed quarterback Brett Hundley in the days following Wentz's diagnosis, but sophomore Jacob Eason continues to take the first-team reps. He went 10-for-22 with a red zone touchdown pass but two interceptions in team drills on Saturday. Should Eason go into the season as the starter, he would likely be one of the lowest-scoring starting quarterbacks and may only provide Superflex value in deeper leagues. This also inhibits the fantasy value of Michael Pittman Jr., though he has proven to be a favorite target of Eason thus far. Pittman currently has an ADP in the 10th round.
