Jackson Holliday Batting Eighth In Return To Big Leagues
4 months agoBaltimore Orioles infield prospect Jackson Holliday will bat eighth for the O's on Wednesday against Toronto. This will be his first MLB appearance since being demoted to Triple-A Bowie in late April. During his first stint in Baltimore, he went just 2-for-34 with 2:18 BB/SO and no extra-base hits. Since then, he's slashed .259/.421/.455 with 20 doubles, eight home runs, seven steals, and 63:69 BB/SO in Triple-A. Now back in the majors, Holliday will look to redeem himself and prove that he can compete at the big-league level. Despite his initial struggles, he still possesses elite offensive prowess. Holliday is currently the top prospect in all of baseball (per MLB.com).
