4 years agoSt. Louis Cardinals starting pitcher Jack Flaherty will start on Opening Day. Flaherty revealed the news himself on a Zoom call, saying, "Yeah. He told me. He should probably be the one to tell you guys, but oh well," referring to manager Mike Shildt. Flaherty should be one of the best fantasy starters in the league, and is rewarded for his excellent 2019 with this season's Opening Day nod. He posted a 2.75 ERA, 0.97 WHIP, and 231/55 strikeout-to-walk ratio last season. He should be one of the first starters drafted in all formats.--David A Marcillo - RotoBaller
